I was born and raised in Biddeford, ME. After being away for about 5 years, Biddeford is where I am located again. As a young child I was fascinated by games. All sorts of games, but mostly of the video type. That's why it was no surprised to others or myself that I would go to college to persue a career in the game industry.
Arizona was my destination after high school. At the time there were very few colleges that offered a degree that was really geared towards an education for the game industry, so the University of Advancing Technology was the choice of very few. I loved my classes, degree, and the school. The Arizona heat was the hardest thing to handle for me throughout college.
Most of my studies in college went into 3d art. Frequently working in programs like 3dsmax, Photoshop, and proprietary game tools I quickly honed my skills for game making. Doing the accelerated program, I graduated with my bachelor of multimedia in 2008.
It wasn't until after I served a five month internship with Turbine, inc. that I realized getting into the game industry would be tougher than I thought. I did not want to give up on the game industry just yet, but I decided I wouldn't limit my career options to one industry. One thing I always enjoyed was working on my web portfolios. It was time for me to really learn the ins and outs of html and css!
Here I am now. Typing the "about me" on my new website. I look forward to learning more and improving this site more and more. If your impressed with my work, contact me! Maybe we can help each other out and get some websites built.
